本系致力於休閒領域研究與教學，鼓勵老師申請各部會及民間產學計畫，提升實務與理論結合的研究風氣，以符合現今休閒產業的發展趨勢。其次，辦理實務性研討會，促進知識交流及發展，並鼓勵參與競賽以促進專業技術進步，具體作法及成效如下：

 (一)提昇研究風氣

本校鼓勵教師參與研討會發表與各項交流補助 (如：註冊費、交通車馬費等)。此外，學校每年補助系上舉辦研討會，提供教師與學生練習發表、增進學術能力之機會。

1. 參與國內學術活動：本系積極鼓勵教師參加各類學術活動，編有專款。

2. 參與國際學術會議：鼓勵本系教師積極參與國際學術會議，不僅提升學術視野，亦提升個人之學術研究能量。

 (二) 強化承接產學合作

本系承接產學合作對象都為民間企業，有「運動器材用品」、「運動俱樂部」、「旅遊公司」、「運動協會」、「科技公司」、「其他企業」等，上述產學合作對象與休閒相關產業發展相結合。

Our department is committed to research and teaching in the field of leisure. We encourage faculty members to apply for various government and private sector industry-academia collaboration projects, aiming to enhance the integration of practical and theoretical research in line with current trends in the leisure industry. Additionally, we organize practical seminars to promote knowledge exchange and development, and encourage participation in competitions to advance professional skills. Specific actions and outcomes are as follows:

1. Enhancing Research Atmosphere

   Our institution encourages faculty to participate in conferences and provides various forms of support for such activities (e.g., registration fees, transportation costs). Moreover, the university provides annual subsidies for the department to hold seminars, offering opportunities for faculty and students to practice presenting and improve their academic skills.

   • Participation in Domestic Academic Activities: The department actively encourages faculty to engage in various academic activities, with dedicated funding available.

   • Participation in International Academic Conferences: Faculty members are encouraged to participate in international academic conferences, which not only broadens their academic perspectives but also enhances their research capabilities.

2. Strengthening Industry-Academia Collaboration

   Our department collaborates with private sector companies, including those in "sports equipment," "sports clubs," "travel companies," "sports associations," "technology companies," and "other enterprises." These collaborations are aligned with the development of the leisure-related industry.
